Here's a glimpse at a few newly created pieces.  I've been having fun in my studio!

Set the table - LET'S EAT!

Here is my plate design for Week 2 of the MATS class.  I had fun creating this piece - I would love a matching tea mug!  These really are my favorite colors - I should try and break free of them and play with different colors - think I will challenge myself to do that ......next week.

Days 9 & 10

Today is day 10 of the 10 day painting challenge and I am very sad to see it come to an end. I have enjoyed doing this so much and it has really helped charge me creatively! I was in a funk where I was really doubting my self/art - and I now feel that I am standing on solid ground with my art and that is a great place to be! We had friends over for dinner last night so I am posting yesterday's piece along with today's.

Not much to say today other than - I love this one!!!! I'm keeping it!

Here is today's art - mixed media on 8"x8" cradled board - Love this one it sort of has a floral motif. Stay tuned more to come...

10 Day Challenge

Well I have been absent for a while again - resting and recouping. I have been painting lately and it feels really good! I have started a 10-Day Challenge. 10 paintings in 10 days - thought I would give it a go! Here is what day 1 looks like -

Off to bed I go, need my rest so that I can paint tomorrow for day 2!!
